The St. Anthony Parish Adult Education Program mission is designed to instruct both those wishing to explore the Catholic Faith as well as those wishing to rejuvenate and enliven their present participation in their faith through deeper understanding of the Necessary Thing; the Truth. “Do you understand what you are reading?” And he said, “How can I unless someone guides me?” …Then Philip opened his mouth and beginning with this Scripture he told him the good news of Jesus Christ.” Acts 8:30-31, 35
Scripture is not a matter for personal interpretation (see 2 Peter 1:20-21). Determining the Truth is not a matter of personal experience. The True Church, the Bride of Christ and our Mother—the Catholic Church founded on the immovable Rock of the Apostles—is the bearer, guardian and dispenser of The Truth, the Word of God, the Life of Jesus Christ fully present and fully alive in body, blood, soul and divinity, in our midst today and always.
The curriculum will be based upon the Credo RCIA Program which covers instruction on:
He who reads much and understands much, receives his fill. He who is full refreshes others. So, Scripture says: If the clouds are full, they will pour rain upon the earth (Eccl. 11:3). St. Ambrose.
