As the pastor of this incredible parish, it is my distinct joy and honor to welcome you. Our small-town parish is primarily about two things: worship and family. We firmly hold to the ancient expression, "Lex orandi, lex credendi, lex vivendi," which means: the way we worship forms our core beliefs which changes the way we live our lives. How we approach God and offer worship to the Most Holy Trinity matters more than anything else we do. At Saint Anthony, we want to believe and live like the saints, and so we strive to worship God and pray as they did.
Saint Anthony parish is also about family and the all-important, joy-full duty of parents to bring new lives into this world and to bring them up to know, love and serve our good God. Joyfully embracing God's design and purpose for marriage that has been clearly articulated by holy Mother Church, we recognize that all are called to chastity whether married or single, young or old. As many popes in the past century have said: as the family goes, so goes society and so goes the world. By means of sincere and reverent liturgy, combined with strong Catholic families, we hope to do our part in making a better world.
PAX,
Fr. Bart
