“Behold this Heart,” Jesus said sorrowfully, as He held His pierced Heart out to St. Margaret Mary. “Behold this Heart which has so loved men, that it has spared nothing, even to exhausting and consuming itself in order to testify to its love. In return, I have received from the greater part only ingratitude, by their irreverence and their sacrilege, and by the coldness and contempt they have for Me in this sacrament of Love.”
In reality the Heart held out to Margaret Mary is offered to you as tangibly as it was to her—just under a different appearance. It is the same Heart that is offered to us today in the “sacrament of love” that the majority of humanity has “coldness and contempt” for, the Eucharistic Heart of jesus.
Return His Love!

My divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in this last moment."
JESUS REQUESTED THE FEAST IN 1675
St. Margaret Mary Alacoque received private revelations from Jesus Christ. Jesus spoke to her on June 16, 1675, and asked her specifically to promote a feast that honored his Sacred Heart, “the Friday after the Octave of Corpus Christi be set apart for a special Feast to honor My Heart.”
It was revealed to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque by Our Lord that He desires the faithful to be devoted most sincerely to His Sacred Heart. Those who make nine First Friday communions, He told her, will receive the grace of final perseverance, die in His grace, and receive the Sacraments before their death.
The Holy Hour is an exercise of mental or vocal prayer, in memory of the agony of our Lord in the Garden of Olives.
The Sacred Heart of Jesus said to St. Margaret Mary: "Make reparation for the ingratitude of men. Spend an hour in prayer to appease Divine justice, to implore mercy for sinners, to honor Me, to console Me for My bitter suffering when abandoned by My Apostles, when they did not WATCH ONE HOUR WITH ME."
Enthronement of the Sacred Heart is a solemn act of a family giving formal recognition of the kingship of Christ over their family and home and the official, ceremonial beginning of a family's commitment to live out the effects of their recognition of Christ's Kingship. During the Enthronement ceremony, a blessed image of the Sacred Heart is hung in the most prominent place in the house. Formal prayers led by a priest or head of household, are prayed and then each member of the household signs a certificate of the Covenant. Enthronement honors Jesus Christ as king and ruler of a household, a religious community or any other structured organization. Contact Fr. Bart Stevens if you are a parishioner seeking Enthronement.
